well, it's been a long time since I last updated my blog... I feel like I have a lot to explain and a lot to tell.
First of all, I've participated in the "Predeparture-Training" in Salzburg ("Jufa") on 18./19. August. It has been great to meet new people, especially those who also do the EVS this autumn! :) There were also some volunteers from other countries that came to spent their time in Austria. It was really nice talking to them about their experiences and feelings, but unfortunately there wasn't a single person from Finland >.< Some were Belgians and my friend is going to spend her EVS in Belgium, so she was pretty lucky!

We also talked a lot and exchanged ourselves in the group...and we played an interesting game ;P it's actually a nasty game - but very funny! We played it with cards and in 4 groups - after every 7 minutes, the best and worst player changed to another group and the crazy part was that every group had been given different rules for the game! >:D so when you came to play with another group, the first thing you thougt was "what the fuck?!" or "didn't they understand the rules?!" xD This was really funny and you never knew what was going to expect you...this game actually represented the EVS itself: when you become part of a country, family, environment etc. (group), things may be totally different from what you've known (your group's and other groups' rules). So you need to find a way to adapt to the new situation. :) It was also very interesting to see what kind of feelings arise inside yourself if this happens, which reached from confusedness and fear to excitement and joy!
Though these 2 days were nice, they also had some bad parts: a lot of time we only talked about information that we'd already been given, which made it really boring from time to time...and there was little time for ourselves. Almost all day long we had either courses or eating breaks, and everything happened to be with the rest of the group...but the food was great!! ;P

...I'm taking the plane on Monday morning, so these are my last days in Vorarlberg with my family and my friends...it's starting to become a little hard (farewells are always hard!), but everyone supports me with all their heart and this makes it a lot easier. :)
I feel like I should say goodbye to all my other friends that I haven't been contacting yet, but at the moment I'm all busy with family, packing, preparing and my "boyfriend" (?) --> since we came close only 2 weeks ago and I'm leaving pretty soon (we have really bad timing!! >.<), we don't know how to call our relationship...
Anyways I spent every single free minute I can with him. I'm going to miss him like hell. :(
...but he also thinks that the EVS is my unique chance and he stands behind me! (He even told me that in case I'd stand in front of his door again after 3 weeks, he'd personally drag me back to Finland.)
But, Marc, thank you so much for every moment you let me spend with you and everything you give me, though it's only for a short time! Somehow I think we could never allow deep feelings to show or develop, because it would have been too hard to leave in the end...but I'll remember! And I'll carry a part of you with me! ...it's not the end and who knows what future brings? ...at least that's what you keep telling me and what I want to believe in! :)

Anyways, it's actually a lot to prepare for my trip and a lot to consider! Today I've also been told the name and mobile number of the guy that's waiting for me at Helsinki airport. Luckily, I was allowed to spend the first night after my arrival in Finlands capital!! *-* I'm so going to visit Helsinki! ;D
I'm pretty sure that even if I give my best and go through all the infos again, there still will be something that I didn't think about...but you only learn from mistakes and I think I'll be fine.
Well, I think it's time now to fully looking forward to Finland! Two more days to spend in Austria and then heading to the airport in Zurich ^.^
